Lauren is a friend of mine from Houston, Texas who gloriously graced me with her presence this week. She was in town with her boyfriend Travis, who I finally got to meet (one and a half years later!). We met up in Manhattan Beach, CA for a too brief lunch but enjoyable just the same. We even got a short cameo appearance by Matt Leinert, too bad his deadbeat dad antics kept me from getting to excited.
Lauren, it was great seeing you and meeting Travis. I hope we can see each other more often!

Sadly it took me 3 hours to drive the 60 miles home! Although I do love Randy Newman, today I do not"Love LA" or maybe "I love LA" and hate the 405!
