Mexican Vacation

Here is a sneak peak into our family vacation. What a wonderful trip this was. I am mentally still going back there many days. More pics and stories coming soon. It will be nice to think about and share with each of you.

Happy Father's Day!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there. Those I would like to mostly acknowledge are:

My own dad. I love you and am thankful everyday to have you to help guide me in this sometimes crazy world. (Mom, a belated Mother's Day thank you is also on the way!)

Doug's Dad, whom he talks to daily and who has set an incredible example for Doug's own role as a dad, (Mary, see above!)

and of course...........

Zachary's Dad, Doug. Tomorrow Zachary will be 11 months old. And while each day teaches us something new about being a parent, there is no more willing participant to learn than Doug. Even when he thinks he already knows what to do (and sometimes he does), when plan A falls apart, he will eventually attempt another plan until he finds (or I find and tell him) the way it works. There is rarely a day that goes by that Doug doesn't say, "We just love him so much". He has been an incredible father to Zachary and I couldn't have found a better person with whom to split this wonderful honor known as parenting.

Zach can stand.

He is now pulling himself up at school and onto the ottoman and chair at home. He still hasn't figured out how to go from laying to sitting, but let's just take this one milestone at a time. Seriously, who is putting all this pressure on the little guy?

There is nothing wrong with enjoying a little time to relax and simply lay on one's back at all times.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes, I miss you. Especially when you are with your buddies (the Salsa Gang!).

Please get better soon.
