I wish I had a picture or video from this story but the note on Zach's daycare summary sheet provided a visual and a laugh just the same.
Each day Zachary plays, laughs, sings, reads, etc at daycare. He is occassionally sent home with his work, which I, of course, love and will treasure always. I know he is only partly working on these projects but I love them just the same.
Yesterday, Zachary and Mrs. Cheryl were doing a little sponge painting. Here is the note on his daycare sheet.
"Zachary enjoyed sponge painting until he noticed he had paint on him, he then handed his sponge then his paper to me, and was done sponge painting."

Such a little performer.
I have to say that 9.5 months is such a FUN age. Zachary has made us laugh from day one, but in his ripe old age he is becoming quite a performer.
One of his tricks include smiling everytime he sees a red light. I need to find him an agent, red light, smile!, red light smile! If I can find a red light to shine on him while videoing him at the same time, you will be in for a treat!
This should be fun enough for you to watch for now!

Zachary is sick............but getting better.
He is finally feeling better but Zach has been sick for the last couple of days. Those of you who know Zach, know he is pretty pleasant to be around and he enjoys his food. Starting Tuesday morning (EARLY) he woke up and was just crying incessantly. I had to leave at 5:30 am so Doug took over and both passed out EXHAUSTED.
A few hours and about 8 messages from Doug later. We knew it was time to go to the Doctor. Zach was still crying and (time for a gasp) hadn't wanted to eat anything!
So we went to the Doctor with a burning up, red cheeked Zachary. Turns out Zach had a fever of 102.7. He also had a virus so the combo meant a few days home from school.
While it is stressful to balance mom life and work life, especially mom life and work life simultaneously literally, at the same time (working from home), there is nothing better than getting to take care of my baby boy. Even when he is sick and falls asleep while sitting up and will only be happy when he is held, then will fall asleep again, but on your shoulder.
I hate that he has been sick, but he manages to even turn this miserable time for him into a precious moment for me.
How can you not love this little guy.
Look behind you................
I just posted out of order, this time not on purpose, I finally uploaded a post from a few weeks ago so check it out! (it's only one back!)

Sunday, the weekly version of New Years Eve for Resolutions.
I often try to make short term and long term goals on Sunday's. I guess for me it is a fresh new start to each week.
So here I go for Sunday, April 20, 2008
So here I go for Sunday, April 20, 2008
- Blog more (at least 2x a week)
- Take Zach for evening walks and/or runs (4 times a week)
- Cook more
- Start reading Eckert Tolle's "A New Earth"
- Keep up with friends
While it would be smarter to pick one thing to work on, especially if this is a weekly thing, I am never one to do things anything but all out.
It feels good to have things to work towards.
Love you all.

Are you there?
Doug and I were talking tonight and wondering if anyone actually reads this thing except for us.
I love that we can keep a journal of our lives, so it doesn't really matter, but if you read this, we are now taking roll.
Bueller, Bueller, Bueller?

Here is a short vdeo of Zachary and the Water Fountain
We were in Palm Springs this weekend and stayed at the La Quinta Legacy Villas. It was B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!
More to come but here is one of the videos. Zachary got a lot of exposure to water this weekend (who would have thought, water in the desert). Fun was had by all.
